Stick figures or better. Pretty lifelike rotations and body positions though. Pivot is a stick figure animation application. This guy has done a bunch of skate animations and a couple of tutorials.

Oh man, this is the best thing ever. Nothing Nice to Say is a great webcomic about punk rock. I am so glad they put the phrase skater kid in one strip so I could feature it on Skate Comics. The guy has a new book out through Dark Horse.

Rocket power

Klasky Csupo did this extreme sports cartoon series for Nickelodeon. Rocket Power kids also surf, snowboard, rollerblade, scoot and play roller hockey but skateboarding is fairly prominent. Videotaping and competitions show up a lot.
