Pretty nice detournement of a no skateboarding sign by Three Panel Soul. I wonder if the artist came up with it or if it’s a quotation. Thanks for the tip Kathleen.

Tony Hawk Ride at Penny Arcade
February 21st, 2010 · No Comments
Webcomic Penny Arcade did a strip about Tony Hawk Ride. It’s not about skateboarding though, it’s about buying and reviewing video games. Post-modern self-reference is so last decade. The guy did, in fact, hate it. I couldn’t really tell from the strip.

Leeder O. Men

I first saw Leeder in Jahwn Dettman’s Naughty Nomads ‘zine back when I was signing my comics Max Concave. Even though Leeder is in a wheelchair the action is totally skate. John Lytle has a blog on The Skateboard mag and Leeder O. Men is still at it on Dizabled.com.

Rich Burton’s occasional photo-comic about the adventures of Steve Grover and his amazing friends. Wheelie-Boy, sheesh.
