Rick Griffin

Another of my cultural heroes is the late Rick Griffin. Better known for surf comics and rock poster art, he did this skateboard dude for a 45 single sleeve in 1977, the year I graduated from high-school. Gordon McClelland’s fine monograph of Rick Griffin is one of my prized possessions.
