The first comic I submitted to Thrasher appeared in the February 1982 issue. That must have been my birthday present. I turned 21 that month. Thrasher Magazine has posted all of the issues from their second year on their website.

Skate and Annoy tipped me to this Supergirl cover and comes up with additional links about the skateboarding Batgirl.

A wealth of comics, illustration and skate stuff at this french skate comic site. Of course it may all be lick the wax tadpole for all I remember of my college french.

While we’re waiting for some real skatecomics action to show up, You can download this Karla on a Skateboard image for $5. It’s from a spanish language webcomic called 3 Corazons by JJ Esteban.

Kilwag tipped me to an episode of The Fairly Odd Parents called Hex Games. You’re can watch part of it at this Nickelodeon site. Check out some halfpipe fairies and watch Timmy roll nimbly back and forth.

I’ve been fooling around with a short animated clip. I made a bunch of three frame quicktime animations and assembled them in iMovie.
